Bereline Jean

Bereline Jean is an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) student with IDHI for the 2025–2026 academic year. She graduated from Florida SouthWestern State College with her associate’s degree and is currently a first-year student at FSU, double-majoring in Pre-Nursing and Psychology with a minor in Child Development. On campus, Bereline is involved with the National Residence Hall Honorary, Connecting Girls to STEM, the Caribbean Student Association, the Inter-Residence Hall Council, and the Black Student Union, alongside UROP.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Bereline plans to pursue graduate school to earn a Doctorate in Nursing, with hopes of becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Outside of academics, she enjoys volunteering, writing poetry, and cooking.
