The Maternal and Child Health Alliance (MaCHA) is a multidisciplinary science and practice hub that advances research to promote maternal and pediatric health, trains the next generation of maternal and child health scholars, fosters community engaged collaborations, and facilitates the translation of evidence into policy and practice.
Mission & Vision
The mission of the Florida State University (FSU) Maternal and Child Health Alliance (MaCHA) is to advance collaborative, rigorous, and community-engaged research that strengthens maternal and child health outcomes across northern Florida.
The Maternal and Child Health Alliance’s (MaCHA) vision is to position Florida State University (FSU) as the premier academic leader in advancing maternal and child health through interdisciplinary research excellence, workforce development, and meaningful community partnerships. To accomplish this, MaCHA focuses on accelerating the translation of evidence into practice by driving sustainable and scalable maternal and child health solutions across northern Florida.
