Filter by category:
- In the spreadsheet below, click "Filter" in the toolbar.
- Select either "Research Topic," "Methodology," or "Skill."
Filter by faculty/staff:
- To view one faculty/staff member's areas of expertise, select "Filter Off" in the toolbar, then "New Filter."
- For the "Select Field," click on the faculty/staff member. The next column will populate to "is checked."
- Click "Apply."
Note: If you would like to filter to view two or more faculty/staff members at once, before Step 2, click on the blue text that says "Show rows that match all conditions" so that it changes to "Show rows that match at least one condition." Then use "Select Field" to choose as many faculty/staff members as you'd like.
Search by key word:
- In the spreadsheet below, click "Filter Off" in the toolbar, then "New Filter."
- For the "Select Field," click "Research Topic, Methodology, or Skill."
- For "Enter value," type in your key word.
- Click "Apply."
Note: If you would like to filter to view two or more faculty/staff members at once, before Step 2, click on the blue text that says "Show rows that match all conditions" so that it changes to "Show rows that match at least one condition." Then use "Select Field" to choose as many faculty/staff members as you'd like.
To remove a filter:
If you used a preset filter, click the filter name to turn it off. If you created your own filter, you can toggle the filter on/off the same way, or you can delete it entirely by clicking the arrow to the right of of the filter name, hover over the filter name in the dropdown menu, and click the trashcan icon.
