Kendrick Forte

Kendrick Forte (he/him) became involved in HIV research in 2015. Since that time, Kendrick has purposely enrolled and participated in clinical trials and technological studies in order to gain insight and perspective on the wants, needs, and outcomes of research conducted on youth and marginalized communities. With an academic background in accounting, a passion for compliance and transparency, and a knack for introducing the “elephant in the room,” Kendrick’s experiences have ranged from the creation of the HealthMpowerment application at UNC’s BatLab to the development of recruitment material at Florida State University.
