Jacob (he/him) is joining the Institute on Digital Health and Innovation (IDHI) as a Program Manager. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minoring in Chemistry and Spanish for the Medical Professions. Before joining IDHI, Jacob earned a Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University where he helped to develop and evaluate a mobile phone application to support community health volunteers during cervical cancer screening in Western Kenya.

At IDHI, he hopes to gain a better understanding of how mobile technologies and related behavioral interventions can be leveraged to improve health outcomes and affect change. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys completing woodworking projects and watching TED talks.
