Those closest to me would say I’m a sensitive, inquisitive individual who welcomes change and treasures the bigger picture. My family has been the backbone of my strength, their unwavering love always supporting me to be the best version of myself. I hold the firm belief in honoring commitments because, ultimately, my word is a reflection of my character. It’s the simple things in life where I find beauty– the shared laugh, the sincerity in someone’s eyes, and the honesty in conversation. I stay anchored in the present moment unburdened by past regrets, aspiring to stay true to myself and embracing the wisdom of accepting what I cannot change. These values provide direction when facing life’s challenges.

Growing up in Tarpon Springs, Florida, a thriving part of the Greek diaspora, has profoundly influenced my Greek-American identity. Greeks, primarily from the Dodecanese, immigrated to Tarpon Springs to work in the sponge industry. These industrious immigrants brought with them their customs, faith, and language. As the community grew, it became clear that a larger place of worship was needed. This prompted sponge divers to pledge their earnings for construction. The result of this pledge was St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. This cathedral is central to the community and holds religious significance to me. It symbolizes the vision and accomplishments of the seafaring people who built my community. A blend of spiritual, cultural, and historical influences has shaped who I am and inspires pride in my heritage
