Jacob (he/him) graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then crossed over to the Dark Side, earning his Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University where he helped to develop and evaluate a mobile phone application to support community health volunteers during cervical cancer screening in Western Kenya. His day-to-day work focuses on two areas: 1) regulatory compliance (IRB) and 2) all things data, including system development, study monitoring, cleaning, and analysis.
When not crunching numbers or updating study documentation, Jacob enjoys woodworking and adding books to his to-be-read list (but should probably spend more time actually reading).
