Jason Alfonso Nava Roman (he/him) comes from a Latinx household and was raised alongside two siblings by a single mom whom he greatly admires and who has been a strong source of motivation in his life. He graduated from California State University Los Angeles, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies with a focus on LGBTQ Studies, which stands out as a significant milestone. His aspirations include pursuing a Master of Social Work degree in Social Work with the intention of working with Transgender Youth from POC Communities, aiming to facilitate their access to gender-affirming care. Known for his willingness and compassionate nature, he has always been eager to extend a helping hand and offer support to others.
